Applying for Financial Aid

Applying for Financial Aid

At 皇家华人 College, we appreciate that every student鈥檚 climb is different, so our financial aid packages offer individualized and personal support. And that鈥檚 what we鈥檙e here for. To support your climb, in any form it may take.

There are several forms of financial aid: loans, grants, and Work Study, for example.

Many financial aid awards include a combination of these different types of aid. Our financial aid counselors can help you weigh the pros and cons of each option and choose the best possible package for your education.

How Should You Prepare For Financial Aid?

There are several simple steps to take as you apply for financial aid:

  • Apply & Enroll in 皇家华人 College. Before receiving financial aid, you must first be admitted to one of our programs, such as those in allied health or trade and technical fields.
  • Once you are admitted, you will be scheduled to meet with the Financial Aid Department for pre-qualification. There you will learn about all the options, obligations, and details of financing arrangements associated with being a responsible student loan borrower.
  • Fill out the FAFSA. Our six-digit Federal School Code is 031081. You can use this code to identify 皇家华人 College in government databases and on websites, such as , for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The site is used for federal student aid for nearly every college in the nation.
  • To stay eligible for financial aid, maintain satisfactory progress in your program of study and attend classes throughout your enrollment.

Work Study

皇家华人 College offers Work-Study jobs for those who qualify. The Federal Work-Study Program provides federal funds to assist employers with hiring 皇家华人 College students who participate in financial aid programs. Work-Study jobs are a great opportunity for students who want to combine professional experience with a college education.

These positions are part-time, temporary jobs that students can apply for while attending 皇家华人 College. Eligibility for this program is considered upon evidence of financial need. A limited number of Work-Study positions are available on and off campus.
